Tamotsu was born in the Oldest of his brother Uina. Asura Being the long distant cousin of the brothers also. The first pure Satsugai to become Blind. Syo' and Tamo' trained all hours of the night with the previous Mizukage,their father. Their father pushed them to become stronger and although their mother wanted them to become something great and help others,their father sensed the growing evil inside of Tamotsu and encouraged him to do evil and convince his brother to do it also. Tamotsu never wanted to do evil,but the Mitsukaigan had a secret. The mitsukaigan has a curse that it puts on the members to have them preform evil deeds in order to gain power. The Mitsukaigan uses the weilders to kill in order for the Mitsukaigan to get stronger and the Mitsukaigan of Tamotsu and the clan founder,Kazyna, were the most powerful. It is as if Kazyna her self dwells within the eyes of each member. Uina who gained the evil power aswell in his eyes but not yet revealed in his Mitsukaigan challenged his brother to a battle to see which brother is the strongest, however Tamotsu used all his rage to defeat his brother even if it meant killing him seeing as Uina was winning at the beginning of the battle which they refered to it as "The War." The War is a battle between two blood relatives of the Satsugai clan in which they will see who is the most strongest. Uina was most skilled and stronger but as you can see, evil took over Tamotsu leaving Uina left for dead which awakened his Mitsukaigan. This had all happened from the timeline for graduating the academy to becoming genin. The get body of Uina was then kept and taken care of by the mother of Tamotsu while the father deceased of old age.
