Hikari Hyūga

The training field was peaceful today, the air was fresh and clean, sounds of wildlife in the forest around it could be heard. Insects were buzzing, frogs were croaking, the sky was clear and blue. The sun shone down on the small training area brightly. Ryutachi finished setting up the dummies he was going to train with for today, standing and looking at all three of them, then taking a few steps back so that he was at a distance from the dummies. His black sandals would make the dirt rise up in tiny dust clouds under him, he reached into his cloak pocket and pulled out a shuriken he had made special for himself - explosive tag symbols were etched into the blades so that the shuriken would explode on impact in a violent blast. Before throwing the shuriken he would examine his targets, as if they were real enemies, before bringing his hand back with the shuriken ready to throw it. Stopping only for a moment to make sure his younger sister wasn't in the way, he threw the shuriken and watched it spin towards the center dummy at high speed. As soon as the shuriken began to cut into the fabric of the dummy, it exploded in a blast of heat and metal sending pieces of fabric from the dummy in all directions. The shuriken left only the wooden post the dummy had been set up on. Ryutachi was pleased with the result, and moved on to the next dummy which was much larger than the other two. It stood at least seven feet tall, and was made completely of wood. This was a special one he would use for his ninjutsu. He took several steps back, to make a large distance between himself and the very large wooden dummy. A column of smoke was still rising from the explosion of the shuriken. Ryutachi focused his attention on the wooden dummy, performing hand seals and silently mumbling.

"Fire Release, Blaze Bullets!"

Ryutachi took a deep breath, inhaling all the air in front of him before blowing out and releasing thirty small fireballs, a sharpened kunai in each one. The fireballs darted and shifted as they flew towards the dummy, each one making impact and creating a small explosion as the kunai would impale itself into the wood. Soon cracks could be heard and the large wooden dummy would ignite in fire. The dummy started to fall apart, as the entire wooden structure crumbled the fire would extinguish itself and a smoldering pile of ash would be all that was left of the large dummy. Ryutachi was pleased with the result of his ninjutsu, and turned to the final dummy he had prepared. This one would be for his final jutsu he wanted to practice. He used his hands to wipe some ash and dust off of his cloak before walking over to the final dummy and standing directly in front of it. Ryutachi started to perform hand signs and mumbled once again.

"Water Release, Crushing Water Sphere!"

Water from the nearby lake next to the training field would shoot up and head straight for the dummy, moving around Ryutachi as he kept his pose and held the final hand sign. The water would create a sphere around the dummy, and then slowly implode to the center crushing the dummy to splinters. The pressure was so powerful Ryutachi could have picked his teeth with the remains of the dummy. The water fell to the ground and was slowly drank by the grass. He nodded and turned to look at his little sister, who had been training on a dummy of her own but had stopped to watch his ninjutsu. Ryutachi smiled at her and walked over so he could observe her training and see where she needed to improve, if she did need to.

"What are you working on right now, Alaina?"

Alaina was still standing with a blank expression of awe on her face from watching her older brothers ninjutsu, staring at what remained of all the dummies he had set up. She shook herself out of it and looked up at him, smiling back before answering his question.

"I'm working on chakra control, Nii-san!"

"Are you now? Let's see it.

Alaina turned back to her dummy, she was always excited to practice in front of her brother so she could show him how much she could improve. Alaina began to concentrate chakra into her hands, and made fists taking a offensive stance before giving the dummy a hard blow to the head. The chakra from her fist released into the dummy, and made it blow back, a somewhat large crack appearing on the neck. She then brought her other fist forward knocking the dummies head clean off and releasing the chakra from her hands. Alaina turned back towards her brother, proud of herself for decapitating the dummy.

"See Nii-san? Did I do good?"

Ryutachi knew she still had some work to do, but was still going to praise her.

"Yes, you did great. I want you to keep training though, only for a little while. I still have some taijutsu I need to practice."

Ryutachi's cloak would wrap around his little sister as he reached down and gave his sister a hug before turning around and setting up one last dummy to practice his taijutsu on.

"Okay Nii-san, I'll keep training hard!

Alaina turned back around to her decapitated dummy and focused chakra into her fists again, punching vital areas marked on the dummy as practice to know where to hit in a fight. She had to get the areas down, if she missed it could mean losing the fight, or her death, both of which she didn't want at all.

Ryutachi began to set up one last dummy for his taijutsu training, first putting up the legs, then the torso, the arms, and the head. He took out a red marker and made circles on certain vital areas of the dummy to practice precision taijutsu for internal damage. After finishing setting up the dummy Ryutachi took a step back and made the tiger hand seal. He focused chakra into his feet, knees, and fists. He looked over the dummy one more time before bringing his knee up and releasing its chakra into the dummies stomach area, then bringing his fist forward to land a blow to the dummies face, which made it splinter and crack from the first hit. Ryutachi continued to bring his fists into the vital areas of the dummy, releasing chakra with each impact. Continuing his ruthless combo on the dummy he finished it all off by grabbing the shoulders, forcing it down and bringing his chakra filled knee into the dummies heart area. The force of this blow would be enough to crack someones rib-cage and send shattered bone into their heart. Ryutachi's knee went through the dummy and out the other side. He brought his knee down and set the dummy on the ground of the training field before opening the pack he had brought with him and drinking some water. He stopped and watched his sister for a few minutes, seeing she didn't have much of a dummy left he decided that this was enough for the day.
