Missions Office

Known to most as the Mizukage's slave group, the missions office is simply a group of chuunin who hand out missions to every team. They often are picked out of the group for being the weakest chuunin but often not the kindest, known for ... sending unfortunate teams to some of the most deadly missions for their rank that they could possibly send. The Missions office sits several floors below the kage office and is often gone too first, before the Kage is seen. If there is a special mission that the Missions Office can't hand out then the kage will request the nin to come to him for the mission before giving it to them. All debriefings happen in the Kage office however.

Himoto ran a hand through her long red hair, trying to make it less "fluffy". She had been given a simpel D-ranked solo mission about escorting a small group of merchants from a small nearby village to the mist village. The mission wasent so important, the merchants only traded some iron and wood with the village, but the leader of the small group had payed for a escort, money was money. Himoto had been the "unlucky", chunnin to get the mission, but she wasent unlucky in her own eyes, since they only had run into 3-4 rouge ninjas with no ninja abilities.


Himoto knocked onto the door of the mizukage`s office, holding the report tight to her chest with her other arm, having a neutral face displayed.

The three chuunin inside the room audibly groaned as a knock sounded at the door, it was the sign that either another group of genin, or a team of chuunin were coming in for a mission or returning from a mission, and that meant dealing with it. Tonoka Raidusu almost hated this job. It was a wonder why he was in here, but he guessed it had to deal with the fact that he had slacked off in almost every way of his ninja career. He was never one for fighting, but that didn't mean he had to sit here for the rest of his ninja life doling out missions to ungrateful little bastard children or hear the snide remarks of his fellow chuunin. He sighed once more as he looked across as his two friends and partners for the past two years, Himeyeaka Tonora, and Lindenae Odorino.

Himeyeaka was a few years younger than him, though she had entered in the academy around the same time as him. They said that she was a prodigy of her clan, though he had yet to see it, "Hime-chan, should we allow this nuisance in here, or leave them out there to rot..." He had always enjoyed the thought of just leaving the door locked on day, with a "Closed for the day sign" and heading out with his two favorite girls for a day of fun, but he knew the Kage would have his head a pike as soon as he could turn around from locking the door. That thought in itself made him sigh as he waited for his answer.

"Sure Tonoko-kun, I don't see why not...", she hated this job as well, but she wasn't the one to really complain as it was easy work and didn't involve dying. But she could see the despair on her friends face and smiled to him, "Don't worry Tono-kun me and Lind-chan will handle this one". She turned around to face Lind with a smile as she nodded toward the door, "You may come in now..." the smile never leaving her face as she awaited todays unlucky team.

Himoto entered, her face dropping a little, but still holding a some-what neutral look in it. "Ah..Tonoka-san, Hime-yeaka-chan, Lindenae-san?..i see you gotten the guard again?", the red haired kunoichi said to the 3 older chunnin. Himoto didnt really know them much, but she didnt dislike them and well, they havent open said they hated her, and she didnt belive they did, but being stuck there, made fun off, could easily make you in a angry mood. "..Im simply here to deliver my report from the escort mission..we only encounterd some thiefs with no ninja knownledge", she said, placing the report on the desk.

Himeyeaka accepted the report with a smile and cracked the seal on the scroll and blinked over it. She nodded and reached behind her for the match pay scroll before locating it and handing it to Himoto, "Congratulation on completing your mission Himoto-chan, its good to see you back". She smiled and handed the report scroll to the Lindenae who in turn stood up and placed the scroll in the missions slot. She typed in the access key before pressing enter causing the scroll to shoot up the chute to the Kage's office where it would be reviewed before being tossed into the mission pile like all the other mission scrolls he had to read, 'Couldn't be him...' she though remorsefully as she prayed for her beloved kage.

"thanks", the young kenjutsu user said with a weak smile, she did seem in a good mood today, or else it was just an act. First, Himoto had wanted just to get home from the mission, deliver it, buy something in the store, go home, make dinner, eat, take a shower and sleep her living days out. But during the mission, Himoto had changed her mind, she hadent used much of her chakra, and she could easily go on anthoder one. *anything for the village*, she said, mentaly to herself as she looked at Himeyeaka again. "Himeyeaka-san, are there any messages from the hokage about seeing me or any missions i can part in?".

Himeyeaka blinked silently as she thought it over, "I think their might be a C-rank in here somewhere but you'll need a team for it. But other than that, by Mizukage's orders all D-ranks are now reserved for the new Genin teams. So you'll have to wait till you get a team Himoto-chan..." she lowered her gaze a bit as she felt she had let a fellow nin down but she had to follow orders, and that mean not giving out missions needed for genin, out to solo chuunin who could possibly be going out for the Jounin Exams in a few months.

"oh, i see", Himoto said with a understanding nod, maby she should lay off the missions and focus on the joinin exsams?. "That reminds me...i have a rapport from my fathers latest secret mission..i havent read it of cause..but he is in the hospital due to a katana through his back, and he wanted me to deliver it to mizukage-hime in person...is he in his office?".

Himeyaeka thought about it for a second, "I don't think so...he said he was going out to meet with his team..." she shrugged nonchalantly. It wasn't weird for the Mizukage to periodically leave his office for an extended period of time. She smiled and wrote down the directions to training field five before handing them to the chuunin. He should be there, if he isn't then he will be back at the end of the day.

"thanks", the young kunoichi said. Himoto bowed a single time, making her hair bounch sligtly, befor smiling down to the older female. "Ill be on my way then", she said, accepting the directions befor leaving the office.
